For additional information about our company visit our website at PRIMARY SCOPEThe Concrete Finisher will be responsible for smoothing and finishing poured concrete for sidewalks curbs or gutters for highways roads streets ADA Ramps and/or bridges.PRIMARY DUTIESWork with concrete crew on/around concrete forms assisting with concrete pour and placementsWork with buckets and pump truck to place concreteFinish concrete to meet horizontal tolerances and finish specs from hard trowel to heavy broomUse bull float broom and trowel machines to finish surfacePatch horizontal and vertical concrete (class C to class A finish per ACI standards)Wear respirator for grinding and other required operationsSafety Safety Safety comply with all OSHA and company policies procedures and standards of safetyPerform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS2 - 5 years of previous heavy civil concrete experience (preferred)Ability to use screeds and trowel float to smooth concreteAbility to climb ladders/stairs and tie-off to forms and liftsExperience with patching that meets ACI standards for horizontal and vertical applicationsExperience checking grades/elevations prior to and during pour to ensure FF&L tolerances are metAbility to run a vibrator and/or work the pump hoseHardworking individual with a positive attitude and great work ethicAcceptable MVR in accordance with Fishers Company Vehicle Program policy Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees cold and rainAbility to pass a pre-employment drug test and government background check Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
