Youll review conflict reports analyze potential legal and business conflicts work closely with partners and leadership on conflict resolution and ensure the firms compliance with ethical and professional responsibility standards. This role sits at the intersection of legal research compliance firm operations and partner-facing advisory work.What Youll DoReview and interpret conflict check reports related to new business intake client onboarding and firm hiringIdentify potential legal ethical and business conflicts offering clear written and verbal analyses to partners and firm leadersDraft conflict waivers and manage the waiver request/approval processImplement and maintain ethical walls and screening proceduresAssist with conflict checks on new hires providing detailed analysis and working directly with the recruiting team and incoming attorneysProvide oversight and guidance to a team of specialists preparing conflict reports including corporate family research and data verificationAssist in drafting and editing engagement lettersRespond to inquiries regarding intake policies conflicts rules and firm proceduresTake on periodic special projects related to risk management and operational improvementRemain available for time-sensitive matters including occasional evening or weekend supportWhat You BringJuris Doctor degree and active bar membership in good standing16 years of conflicts compliance or related experience within a corporate law firmExperience with conflicts systems (Intapp preferred; Aderant a plus)Strong research skills and comfort working with databases and analytical toolsExcellent communication skillsclear concise and partner-facingAbility to manage details meticulously while meeting strict deadlinesStrong judgment discretion and the ability to mentor or guide junior staff when$120000 - $150000 a year Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
