Construction Assistant Project Manager Internship, Summer 2026 at The Superior Group

Position: Assistant Project Manager InternLocation: Columbus OhioPay Rate: $25 per hourSuperior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Summer 2026 term (May August). When you join Superior you join a national leader in electrical design and addition to your day-to-day responsibilities we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns leadership training career prep unique jobsite visits and beyond.Under the guidance of our Project Operations team youll gain exposure to our jobsites and how we keep our projects moving forward including contracting scheduling estimating bidding and contract administration. This role is based on a jobsite in Columbus Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport project documentation including Construction drawings requests for information submittals and meeting minutesDocument weekly project owners meetings and decisionsPosts drawings and specifications with most recent informationAssist the project team with site safety documentation and coordinationAssist in the management of of project permit processHelp maintain and distribute project scheduleAssist the project team with closeout of project including generation of project punch list and documentationCollaborates and demonstrates teamwork in a project settingYour Character TraitsYoure a great communicator a team player and ready to work with colleagues across our engineering and field teamYou have a knack for solving problemsYoure organized great at prioritization and have a strong attention to detailYoure able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when sensitive informationEducationRequired: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management or related fieldAbout The Superior Group (Superior)Superior is a national leader in electrical design and construction.
