CONSTRUCTION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (JUNIORMID LEVEL)TRANSACTIONAL FOCUSLocations: Philadelphia PA New York NYHYBRIDOur client a prominent AmLaw 100 international law firm is seeking a motivated Construction Associate Attorney to join its expanding Construction Practice Group in Philadelphia or New York. This is an exceptional opportunity to advise on sophisticated development projects and collaborate with a nationally recognized team handling high-profile complex construction matters.Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing26 years of substantive experience drafting and negotiating design and construction agreementsDegree in Engineering architecture or construction management strongly preferredExperience representing owners and contractors on complex development projectsKnowledge of insurance bonding lien law and risk mitigation issuesExposure to or interest in construction litigationThis role is primarily transactional but may include litigation workStrong drafting analytical and negotiation skillsDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environmentKey ResponsibilitiesDraft and negotiate design construction consulting and related agreements for owners contractors and developersAdvise clients on insurance requirements bonding lien law and other construction risk mitigation strategiesSupport transactional matters involving major development and infrastructure projectsConduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda and contract analysesCollaborate with partners and cross-disciplinary teams on project planning and risk assessmentParticipate in construction-related dispute matters including claim evaluation and litigation supportProvide practical business-oriented counsel to clients across all phases of project deliveryWhy Join UsThis role offers an unparalleled platform to work within one of the nations most dynamic and sophisticated construction practices.
