Your impact: We are looking for a passionate Construction Director, Technical Services who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. This position will report into our Life Science North America Construction team in teh Northeast area. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects which include state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. As an important team leader, you will participate as a member of our senior construction management team and be engaged in our construction-first execution model helping to facilitate construction oriented design delivery, stake-holder coordination, construction execution, and construction execution support for technical and commercial aspects of the program including, but not limited to Safety, Financial, Technical, and ESG. Engaged with our multi-discipline, highly interactive teams, you will be a party to developing and delivering small- and large-scale capital projects. Your impact opportunities: • Large EPCM delivery responsible for all technical and commercial aspects of the program including but not limited to Safety, Financial, Technical, ESG. • Monthly financial reporting requirements and forecasts. • Management and approval of all scope changes and/or additional scope additions by the client. • Encourage project teams to seek opportunities to deliver superior customer value and earn client loyalty. • Jacobs representation at meetings, presentations, and reviews relative to assigned projects. • Program compliance with the contract agreements as well as rigid cost control for approved design within established budget restraints. • Plan, direct, and coordinate program activities to ensure that project goals are achieved within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. • Establish work plan and staffing requirements for the program, driving for assignment of project personnel. • Provides leadership for Site Construction Teams to ensure project progresses on program schedule and within prescribed program budget. • Develop and maintain effective communications and working relationships with stakeholders.
Here's what you'll need
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural/Engineering/Construction Management or industry relevant discipline; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree • At least 15+ years of experience in industry relevant leadership roles, Project or Construction Management, preferably in the Biopharma/Life Science Industry • Planning, project management, staff management, and/or business management experience is required • Must have strong organizational and project management/leadership skills, able to effectively manage scope, schedule, and budgets for large, complex projects. Ideally, you’ll also have: • Master’s degree in an industry relevant discipline, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field. • Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferred • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), preferred #LifeSciences, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience, #Construction, #Engineering#LI-SH1Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
