ALL leads are provided and there is NO cold-calling!As a valued member of our recon team, you will receive competitive pay, with an opportunity to learn and grow.Primary ResponsibilitiesEstablish customer relationships for construction servicesEducate customers on the construction processWork with customers to understand desired upgrades/changesEnsure that estimates meet client requirements.Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a projectUsing state-of-the-art technology to create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for construction projects.Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate.Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgradesWork with Project Manager to price bid items and obtain quotes from sub-contractors if needed.Identify and document finalized project scope of work.Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimates (i.e. Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.)Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates.Follow-up with the customer to get their approvalDeliver and communicate approved estimates to Construction TeamNecessary Experience and Skill SetMinimum of 2 years previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experienceXactimate level 1 and 2 certifications or greater preferred. Proficient use of Xactimate estimating software highly preferredSuperb customer service track recordEffective written and oral communicationAdvanced math skillsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsComfortable asking for the saleTeam PlayerMust have a good driving recordPhysical and Work Environment RequirementsWalking and/or standing throughout the day. Frequent driving and sitting. Occasionally climbing ladders. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat.
