You will inspect jobs sketch and use Xactimate (sometimes Symbility) to create accurate estimates for repair work. This can include any type or size of job from flood fire vehicle impact storm damage etc. You are responsible for building relationships and follow up with property managers and insurance adjusters to obtain estimate approval. Once approved the Estimator stays involved with projects for any supplements and/or change orders throughout the course of reconstruction. You are an engaged member of the team and are part of the overall success of the organization.Responsibilities and Qualifications (include but are not limited to):Responsible for estimating commercial and residential reconstruction projects in Xactimate and SymbilityPerform inspections sketch and photograph projectsNegotiate restoration services and insurance claim settlements with insurance adjustersSell/obtain approvals for projects and move them forward to productionEstablish budgets for the Project ManagersProcess change orders and supplements as necessary and in a timely mannerReview files before billing for accuracyBe a leader that is self-motivated responsible proactive a team playerMaintain a high level of customer service and follow through on projects as they transition into productionBe a part of the sales process - build relationships with new and existing customersWe are seeking:Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you arent afraid to pick up the phone!A team player who works well with other peopleSolid problem-solving skills who knows how to take the initiativeProfessional appearance positive attitude and pleasant demeanorOut of the box thinker who can push the boundaries of the normGoal-oriented individual who will be committed to the teamHighly advanced ability to prioritize tasks requests and demands.Physical and Work Environment RequirementsCapable of working comfortably at a computer workstation for the duration of the workday.Must have the ability to climb stairs.Ability to occasionally climb up a ladderFine Print:Valid Drivers License and Clean DMV Record requiredProfessional Employment References neededAbility to successfully complete a Servpro required background check and drug screen subject to applicable law requiredWorking hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pmSERVPRO Team Friermuth supports and hires our military veterans and spouses!All employees of a SERVPRO Franchise are hired by employed by and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO Franchise.
