Construction Inspector at AG Consulting

AG Consulting Engineering, PC (AG), a design, engineering, and construction management firm headquartered in New York is looking for Construction Inspectors in Albany, New York. Position: Construction Inspector Location: Albany, New York Project: State Office Complex project Scope: Will provide construction inspection expertise for a huge office complex. Project will include the following: Underground utilities Concrete Wood/metal framing Masonry Roofing Windows Doors Security Alarms HVAC Interior finishes Responsibilities: Daily site inspection for conformance of contract installed work. Complete daily inspection reports. Coordinate with contractors and facility staff. Monitor daily site safety program and observe OSHA requirements. Compare work to the progress schedule. Will report to the Engineer in Charge (EIC). Responsible for field construction efforts, construction sequencing, cost, scheduling, and performance decisions. Assure that proper document control, quality assurance documentation and construction project records are kept. Assure quality and uniformity in the records of various contracts in the overall program. Basic Qualifications: Minimum three (3) years related experience in construction. Strong people skills. Able to read contract documents and construction plans. The ability to clearly and effectively present information to clients, other staff, and management. Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office products. A.G.
