We are committed to building a best-in-class organization by empowering top talent with the resources autonomy and support needed to deliver results and advance their careers in a high-performance environment.Role OverviewMultiple locations open: Arlington VA / Alexandria VA / Herdon VA / Manassas VA / Leesburg VA / Mclean VA / Falls Church VA / Washington DCAs an Interiors Manager you help the Construction Manager ensure smooth transitions on all daily construction-related matters for the renovations and new construction plans of multi-million dollar multifamily apartment home communities.The interiors manager will be the on-site representative reporting to the Construction Manager using clear communication skills to ensure the successful completion of the projectExperience with scheduling and executing multifamily unit renovations hospitality experience will also be consideredFamiliarity with capex projects including exterior repairs amenities MEP upgrades and common areas a plusTrack organize and maintain onsite construction materials inventory to ensure successful projectsFamiliar with accepted building practices including techniques code requirements and market pricingHelp with diligence walks assessing property conditions marking up site plans and estimating repair costs for completing each projectAssist with all the necessary project schedules to monitor construction meetings to conduct stakeholders to update change orders and RFIsHelp procure construction servicesHelp monitor and maintain agreed-upon project budgets and schedules overseeing construction activities and communications with organizational stakeholdersUpdate and maintain internal construction tracker dailyQualifications2 years of experience in the construction field preferredComfortable leading construction crews to completionFamiliar with construction equipmentStellar record in real estate specifically in the construction fieldProven project coordination skills for each stage of construction and renovationStrong analytical problem-solving and costing skillsAble to communicate effectively with a diverse array of peopleProficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Project)About CortlandFounded in 2005 Cortland is an international vertically integrated multifamily real estate investment development and management firm with a resident-centric approach to living experiences.
