In this role you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesMeasure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler pencilchalk and marking gauge.* Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safeand clean environment.*Verify trueness of structure using plumb bob level or laser level.*Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand toolsmachines or power saw.*Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props using handtools and wood screws nails dowel pins or glue.*Build or repair cabinets doors frameworks windows floors andother wooden fixtures used in buildings using woodworking machinescarpenters hand tools and power tools.*Measure cut and install trim baseboard and casing with accuracy.Must be able to apply different applications properly.*Fill cracks and other defects in plaster or plasterboard and sandpatch using patching plaster trowel and sanding tool.Position RequirementsHigh school diploma/GEDPrevious construction management experienceProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredExcellent organizational and leadership skillsAbility to meet established production goals and maintain profitabilityEffective written and oral communicationSkills/Physical Demands/CompetenciesExposure to extreme conditions such as heatAbility to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e. driving sitting climbing)Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heightsExposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loudAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawEach SERVPRO Franchise is Independently Owned and Operated.All employees of a SERVPRO Franchise are hired by employed by and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated Servpro Franchise.
