Job Description
Position Summary: As a Construction Manager you will manage daily operations of self-performing installation staff subcontractors while they are engaged in the construction installation and in-service testing of all project-related Telecom communications systems. You will act as the liaison between crew and the Project Manager. You will be responsible for all facets of in-field execution.What You Will Do:Participates in bid walks/pre-con walksHandles landlord coordination with respect to scheduling and managing expectationsScheduling any rental equipmentSubmitting supplemental material request (Sup BOMs)Reviewing drawings for future sitesGo over drawings and all other construction documents with foreman on first day of constructionReport status of jobsGetting the crew any supplemental material that they needcoordinating deliveries with the warehouse or delivering material yourselfOnsite for any crane picks or other critical scopesKeep crew on schedule and on top of deliverablesvisit site at least twice a week and provide accurate updatesOnsite final day of construction to make sure site is actually built per the scope and true up of any unused materialSchedule a trash-outClosing building permitsCompleting as built/redlinesChasing down deliverables and making sure that they are submittedTimely follow up with landlord to ensure job satisfactionWhat You Will Need:A minimum of three (3) years experience supporting Project Managers within the telecommunications field.OSHA 30Advanced knowledge of construction management processes means and methodsExpert knowledge of wireless products construction details as well as relevant rules and regulations.Customer quality standardsWorking knowledge of Office SuitePhysical Demands/ Environmental Conditions:Ability to lift up to 50lbsWorking indoors/outdoors in inclement weatherOn call nights/weekendsWhat Youll Love About Us:Competitive compensationGenerous paid time off policies10 paid holidaysHealth Dental and Vision PlansFlexible Spending Accounts401(k) with Company MatchActive culture and inclusion clubMonthly photo contests to win gift cardsTimberline Communications Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
