Provides hands-on environmental industrial hygiene (IH) and health and safety (H&S) activities for a specific plant. Requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. By staying connected to customers markets and communities we build trust deliver results and position Diamond for growth and resilience in a changing world.Responsibilities Ensures the implementation of a detailed task level day to day Environmental program utilizing the EH&S work process standards and proceduresInitiates requests for change to the EH&S Delivery Leader to improve the best knowledge and experiences. (work processes operating discipline LER Best practice existing practices gaps to standards)Ensures that the environmental aspects of Operating Discipline are adequate and applied to achieve environmental performance goals. Acts as the Plant resource for related environmental information on procedures guidelines and standardsPlant contact for environmental issuesCoaches teams and individuals on environmental related tasks and activitiesAssists in developing and achieving area or plant environmental goalsEnsures Environmental Compliance tasks are completedPerforms the routine environmental monitoring data collection analyzing and reporting for assigned plantCollect data for emission event reporting for upsetsAs required participates in environmental related reviews and projectsAs required conducts and documents investigations of environmental incidents and ensures follow-up actions to prevent recurrences that are addressedProvides data for TCEQ requirements/responses upon request and guidance of the environmental specialistGather data required for development of environmental permitsCollect input and calculate Environmental reporting informationAccountable to ensure environmental trigger events are placed into the E&ATInitiates and supports MOC for Environmental matters as necessaryODMS 6.07 Focal PointRequired QualificationsA minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalentA minimum of two years of relevant experienceThe ability to work a full shift come to work on time work overtime weekends and holidays as neededMust have a current valid US Drivers LicenseA minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
