About the Role:

S.A. Morman is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a fast-paced and team working environment. The Construction Project Manager will oversee projects from the submittal phase through final installation, ensuring materials are ordered, delivered, and installed according to specifications, timeliness, and budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in doors, frames, and architectural hardware and be detail oriented

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple commercial door and hardware projects simultaneously from start to finish.
  • Review architectural plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, and material procurement.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, architects, field installers, and suppliers.
  • Track projects timeliness, budgets, and changes.
  • Resolve project specific issues and communicate proactively with clients and team members. Most of these issues will be resolved off site, however some on-site work is required from time to time.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including but not limited to Issues lists, computer databases, timelines, and other-directed programs to aid in communications internally and externally.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and building codes.

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
    • Strong knowledge of project coordination, scheduling, and documentation best practices.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multitask, and work under pressure
    • Extreme attention to detail
    • AHC or DHI certifications are a plus
    • Knowledge of commercial doors, frames and hardware are a plus
