Our team consists of licensed Professional Engineers (PE) certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) certified professional with Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) licensed General Building Contractor and other industry designations. We can provide entitlement development design procurement construction management project management expert witness and litigation support services on a variety of building types. Our experienced team have provided these services to successfully deliver various facilities for public school districts college districts universities commercial developers hospitality owners multinational CM/PM consultants and other valued clients. Job Summary Are you looking to apply your skills and utilize your experience to make a difference in our community Are you motivated to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to deliver new projects for our clients Triangle is waiting for you to join our team! This is a full-time position with Los Angeles Unified School District. The ideal candidate for this Project Scheduler position would be an experienced professional with at least five years of hands-on experience in construction scheduling ideally in educational or public works projects. They should be highly proficient in using Primavera and MS Office Suite and have a strong understanding of construction drawings including architectural structural mechanical electrical plumbing and civil plans. This individual should excel in reviewing and analyzing contractor baseline schedules performing critical path and earned value analysis and ensuring schedule accuracy through quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes. They must be adept at identifying and resolving schedule discrepancies conducting time impact analyses for change orders and facilitating schedule negotiations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with project teams contractors and management. A bachelors degree in architecture engineering or construction management is required or a degree in any field combined with additional scheduling experience. The candidate should be able to manage and maintain program schedules provide detailed progress reports and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of cost engineering scheduling theories and schedule forensics. Responsibilities Develops and maintains program schedules identifying relationships logic milestones and constraints for construction projects of various typesIndependently interprets and reads detailed construction drawings (Architectural Structural Mechanical Electrical Plumbing Civil etc.) and develops a clear understanding of work scopeReviews Contractors Baseline schedule submissions and verifies that all work scope is identified properly and logically sequenced correctly; provides written detailed schedule review commentsPerforms QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with the contract; reviews critical path cost loading resource loading of man-hours schedule content recovery schedules use of logic relationships and lags constraints and milestonesPerforms schedule Time Impact Analysis for any change orders that affect the construction schedule; conducts schedule negotiations with the OAR and the contractor for any delay time settlementsReads drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope and understands terms and conditions of the contract to determine if any compensable or non-compensable time extensions have meritPerforms Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysisWalks the construction sites as needed and checks the contractors weekly/monthly schedule progress; provides reports to the project OAR and upper management.Effectively communicate with the Contractor regarding all schedule/progress related matters and concerns in the weekly status meetings and all other schedule related meetingsPerforms Program Schedule QA/QC reviews on a regular basisPerforms status updates for Program Schedules/Master Schedules on a bi-monthly basisEnsures proper use of Program-level standard codes layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrityServes as a liaison between project teams department leadership and the Program & Project Controls departmentPrepare reports as needed and directed by Management Required Experience: Minimum 5 years full time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor preferably in an educational facility or public works projectsProficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite Required Education: Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in architecture engineering or construction management.ORGraduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in any course but with additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for the required education.
