Position: Safety InternLocation: Columbus OhioPay Rate:$25 per hourSuperior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Summer 2026 term (May August). When you join Superior you join a national leader in electrical design and addition to your day-to-day responsibilities we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns leadership training career prep unique jobsite visits and beyond.Under the guidance of our Safety team youll gain exposure to all aspects of safety across our construction jobsites and enterprise accounts. You will also support jobsite safety initiatives to ensure our team members uphold proper protocols. This role is based on a jobsite in Columbus Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in daily walk through of safety audits on large construction sites and helps ensure compliance with government rules & regulationsAssist in the completion of audits or daily reports describing activities completed critical conversations and issues etcHelp create maintain and update documentation and formsAssist with training and new Safety Professionals onboarding as neededCollaborate with the safety team on training programs and initiatives to grow safety culture onsiteCreate and distribute site specific Toolbox TalksHelp to organize PPE in multiple locations onsiteAssist with creating safety reports for the multiple projectsYour Character TraitsYoure a great communicator a team player and ready to work with colleagues across our engineering and field teamYou have a knack for solving problemsYoure organized great at prioritization and have a strong attention to detailYoure able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when sensitive informationEducationRequired: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Safety or related fieldAbout The Superior Group (Superior)Superior is a national leader in electrical design and construction.
