Construction Scheduling Internship, Summer 2026 at The Superior Group

Position: Scheduling InternLocation: Columbus OhioPay Rate: $25 per hourSuperior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Summer 2026 term (May August). When you join Superior you join a national leader in electrical design and addition to your day-to-day responsibilities we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns leadership training career prep unique jobsite visits and beyond.Under the guidance of our Scheduling team youll gain exposure to our jobsites and how we keep our projects moving forward including contracting scheduling estimating biding and contract administration. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in creating and maintaining project schedules for electrical construction using tools such as Primavera OPC P6 or Microsoft ProjectLearning our processes on creating and updating schedules to assist our teamCollaborate with project managers field teams and stakeholders to understand project activities dependencies and critical pathsHelp analyze project progress and identify potential scheduling risks or delaysSupport the preparation of project documentation including progress reports updates and milestone trackingParticipate in meetings and learn best practices in construction scheduling and timeline optimizationGaind hands-on experience with resource planning and real-world project coordinationYour Character TraitsYoure a great communicator a team player and ready to work with colleagues across our engineering and field teamYou have a knack for solving problems and enjoy analytical tasksYoure organized great at prioritization and have a strong attention to detailYoure able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when sensitive informationEducationRequired: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field.About The Superior Group (Superior)Superior is a national leader in electrical design and construction.
