This role blends sales strategy, account management, and relationship-building while representing trusted western lifestyle brands. The right candidate thrives on travel, enjoys meeting people face-to-face, and has a strong background in B2B sales.This is a high-travel role (up to 90%), ideal for a self-starter who enjoys independence and being on the road while driving growth and market presence.Territory Sales Manager ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales plans for existing and prospective customersAnalyze industry trends to align sales activities with business goalsBuild and maintain strategic relationships across sales channelsMaintain regular customer contact and convert opportunities to salesCoordinate a travel schedule aligned with strategic sales routesManage account growth and expenses within budgetComplete timely administrative tasks (reports, CRM entries, etc.)Support trade shows, events, and company meetingsCollaborate with manufacturer reps and internal departmentsAll other duties as assigned by managementTerritory Sales Manager Skills and CompetenciesStrong persuasive speaking and presentation abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsActive listening and organizational skillsAbility to understand and articulate complex product informationSelf-starter with a drive for autonomy and resultsEffective time management and multitaskingCustomer service and forecasting proficiencyStrategic business planning and follow-throughProficiency in MS Office and OutlookMaintains professional appearance and environmentTerritory Sales Manager QualificationsUndergraduate degree required3+ years of B2B sales experienceBased in or near the designated territory (Western U.S.)Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (past 3 years)Willingness to travel extensively by car, plane, or other meansPhysical RequirementsSitting and/or walking for extended periods (33%–75%)Stooping, bending, twisting (10%–25%)Occasional lifting of 25–50 lbs (0%–33%)Work EnvironmentThis is a field-based sales role with a home office setup and regular visits to the corporate office.
