Job Title: HCL Account RepresentativeLocation: Hybrid (Herndon VA)Clearance Required: NoneDuration: Full-time PermanentPay Type: W2 employeeReporting to: HCL Team LeadManagement Duties: None Compensation: DOEOverview:Four Inc. is seeking a motivated HCL Account Representative to join our growing Public Sector sales team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career sales professional to gain experience in federal IT sales while supporting experienced account executives in driving software opportunities across public sector agencies. The successful candidate will combine a proactive approach to prospecting with a collaborative mindset helping identify qualify and develop new business opportunities while managing ongoing customer relationships. Youll work closely with agency stakeholders partners and vendors to understand mission needs and align them to HCLs technology solutions.Essential Functions:Create and execute sales activities to support experienced sales managers in achieving revenue goalsUse demand generation and prospecting tools to identify opportunities within your assigned territoryDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers business partners and software manufacturersProvide operational account management support including responding to RFQs coordinating proposals and processing ordersManage and accurately forecast a pipeline of sales opportunitiesLeverage knowledge of federal procurement processes to align opportunities with customer budgets timelines and requirementsGenerate new business through cold and warm calling networking and partner collaborationCoordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of customer solutionsFoster trust and credibility with clients by aligning solutions with their unique objectives and challenges collaborating with vendors and OEM partners to position HCL solutions effectivelyMaintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM systemTrack and report on key metrics including activity volume pipeline creation scheduled meetings and conversionsContinuously develop market knowledge and stay informed on federal IT trends budgets and compliance considerationsRepresent Four a professional mission-focused manner during calls emails and meetingsOther duties as assignedWhat We OfferCompetitive pay and benefits (medical dental vision 401k with match company-paid life/short-term disability long-term disability insurance paid time off all federal holidays off etc.)Great company culture and perks (regular office happy hours peer-to-peer recognition program free building gym access hybrid work environment etc.)Collaborative team with room for professional development at a growing company.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communication or a related field or equivalent experience3 years of experience in public sector sales business development or account managementTrack record of outbound prospecting and pipeline generation; prior experience generating pipeline and supporting full sales cyclesPrior experience selling or supporting HCL or enterprise software products preferredKnowledge of federal procurement methods (e.g. GWACs BPAs SEWP GSA Schedules)Knowledge of federal compliance requirements (e.g. FedRAMP FISMA CMMC)Strong time management and ability to prioritize competing demandsAbility to work independently and take initiativeStrong written and verbal communication skills including excellent presentation skills and persuasive abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and relationship management abilitiesA proactive self-motivated mindset with a strong desire to continuously learn and growA passion for customer experience and public sector innovation and for solving problems through technologyKnowledge of the technology sales lifecycle and a track record of driving client outcomesDemonstrated ability to understand customer needs and align technology solutions accordinglyFamiliarity with major federal civilian agencies and their missionsKnowledge of tools such as ZoomInfo LinkedIn Sales Navigator GovWin or similarProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and CRM tools (e.g. Sugar Salesforce Hubspot)Comfortable with digital collaboration tools (e.g. Teams SharePoint Zoom)Ability to gain clearance preferredPhysical Requirements:The work is generally sedentary and performed in an office or remote setting; however some travel to government or partner sites may be required.
