As Consultant Marketing Management you will utilize a mastery of marketing competencies to lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies designed to target independent agents to support critical standard lines business objectives. This role will include the following responsibilities:Promoting Nationwides digital experiences to the intermediated channel including Nationwide Express and Agent Center capabilitiesLeading our B2B2C content strategy to ensure a complete marketing library for agents to use with customers within both Seismic and Marketing CentralSupporting New Business activation by launching new and helping manage existing agency nurture paths in-marketCollaborating with our P&C advertising team manage our quarterly near-market PL advertising campaignsLaunching and overseeing the marketing activation of Nationwide Rewards Points a new producer level rewards programStrong candidates will have the following skills and experiencesA strategist who can translate complex business needs into actionable measurable marketing strategiesUnderstands customer journeys and how to apply marketing automation and personalization capabilities to implement effective nurture pathsStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively navigate complex organizationsAcumen in brand building and content marketingPerformance driven marketing mindset and relentless focus on business impactThis hybrid position is based in Columbus OH. You will execute on future business or marketing needs driven by quantitative data/research competitive insights and/or consumer behaviors. Well count on you to ensure a strong focus on end-to-end customer experience delivering outstanding customer experience overall.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Assists in the development and execution of strategies and plans that ensure long term sustainable growth of the business. Synthesizes data and uses this understanding to support identification and innovation of business building solutionsLeads projects and processes within area of responsibility to deliver results with multiple target completion dates and shifting priorities.Implements digital and traditional marketing tactics and media including creative development process planning and execution.Collaborates on and/or may lead creative development and provides feedback on look and feel. Develops creative briefs.Monitors emerging innovative trends in content design and marketing tacticsReviews and uses customer insights and analytics and tools to understand and forecast market competitor and customer needs and behavior define appropriate target audiences evaluate sufficiency and effectively get results with data-based decisions.Ensures programs are on strategy and on schedule.May perform other responsibilities as assigned.Reporting Relationships: Reports to Manager/Director/AVP. This is an individual contributor role and may have an opportunity to manage a team based on organizational structure; may also lead virtual/project teams.Typical Skills and Experiences:Education: Bachelors degree in marketing business administration or related field preferred. Masters degree is a plus.License/Certification/Designation: Technical financial services designations such as FINRA CPCU CLU ChFC FLMI considered a plus. Additional licensing may be required to hold this position; and associates will need to acquire the required Federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit. Additional licenses/registrations may be required when new products and services are implemented. If an associate fails or is unable to acquire required licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit the associate will be ineligible to continue in the position.Experience: Typically eight or more years related professional experience in marketing strategy consulting financial services or related field.Knowledge Abilities and Skills: In-depth knowledge of marketing methodologies insurance and/or financial services products distribution systems and customers. Knowledge of project leadership concepts and methodologies. Possesses strong verbal and written skills needed to develop and review research studies communicate research findings market recommendations based on findings and maintain relationships. Ability to lead and prioritize projects. Ability to function independently or in a team environment with limited supervision. Demonstrates core marketing proficiencies including strategy development utilization of insights and analytics building brand equity and developing effective marketing communications. Skilled at customer focus operating capabilities personal effectiveness and strategic capabilities.Other criteria including leadership skills competencies and experiences may take precedence.Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring managers leader and HR Business Partner.Values: Regularly and consistently demonstrates Nationwide Values.Job conditions:Overtime Eligibility: Not Eligible (exempt)Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
