Description The Consumer Loan Processor performs consumer loan processing functions including document collection and organization, auditing, and quality assurance. The Processor works in alignment with Service Level Agreements, meeting all production and quality metrics.Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:Job Duties:Solicit, review and audit supporting documents for full completion and accuracyOrganize complete loan application file and submit for loan fulfillmentDocument loan application status and member inquiries as appropriateRespond to and resolve a high volume of member loan inquiries, both written and verbalCollaborate with peer Processors, Loan Fulfillment Associates, and other internal and external points of contact in loan processingEssential Skills:Education: High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum two years' experience in customer service, financial services experience preferredFamiliar with the use of loan calculators to execute basic financial mathematics including simple interest calculations and amortization schedulesAbility to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines in a high-volume production environmentStrong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to apply sound independent judgementAbility to communicate clearly (verbal and written) with all levels within organizationExcellent listening skills with ability to ask probing questions to determine member needs and overcome objectionsProven skills and commitment in meeting or exceeding member expectations and requirementsSome knowledge of lending practices and industry standard processes, including Bank Secrecy Act regulationsFamiliarity with regulatory policies and procedures, including SCRA, Truth in Lending, Reg.
