Contact Center Operator - Methodist Richardson Med Ctr - Food
The Centralized Call Center Operator supports patient dining services across two hospital campuses by answering incoming calls and accurately entering patient meal orders into the system. This role plays an important part in ensuring patients receive meals that align with their dietary needs while delivering a positive and supportive customer service experience. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
Performs and coordinates a variety of duties related to dispatch and scheduling
Responsible for receiving calls for service; prioritizes and coordinates the service requests
Works closely with management and the dispatch team to communicate needs and ensure timely guest service
Handles and maintains of all records and documentation of service requests; uses software to log activity
Provides customer service and maintains a friendly and effective demeanor toward customers, guests, clients, and co-workers
Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications
Previous experience in transportation dispatch or related field preferred
Must have a solid understanding of software applications
Demonstrates strong social skills, accuracy, and attentional to detail
Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
