The HBS/IT Engineer will coordinate and lead a wide range of activities that are designed to improve on-time delivery, productivity, quality, cost, safety and environmental performance. This position is located at our aerospace forging plant in Rochester, NY.Key Responsibilities Expand local reporting automation opportunities from VisualImplement a financial /KPI/planning dashboardRoll out usage of Power BI or other localized dashboard reporting platform for production metricsInteract with necessary business processes and system owners to effectively understand requirements and implement the appropriate systems solutionsEffectively utilize a standardized project lifecycle and management methodology to manage projects, communicate status, and deliver work to schedule and budgetExecute work in compliance with all appropriate audit and regulatory requirementsPerforms other tasks of equal or lesser skill as requiredElimination of waste on the operational floorUtilization of Lean Tools: 6S, Waste Identification, Gemba Walks, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Controls, RCCA, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, OEE. Digitize manual and paper workflows across production and admin functionsImprove data flow, visibility, and operational efficiencyDeliver high-impact tech solutions with leadershipIdentify opportunities for automation, AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics across functions and production processes.Digital Transformation & Automation , Qualifications QualificationsBASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.5 years of experience in digital transformation, automation, or systems engineering within the aerospace or advanced manufacturing industry.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
