Contract Specialist at Esri

OverviewInteract with Vendors from all over the world from every industry. Your role is essential to the procurement and sales process because you will capture a deals nuances to meet Esris business needs and sales goals. You will exercise your skills to build relationships mitigate risk and protect Esris intellectual property. As a self-starter you will seek to effectively prioritize assignments and issues to drive resolution growth and process improvement. You will work with a team of highly skilled contracts negotiators and attorneys to support the customer focused Esri philosophy and promote the adoption of ArcGIS.ResponsibilitiesReview draft and negotiate cloud software and procurement agreements for both internal use and incorporation into Esri products and services with VendorsReview draft and negotiate statements of workRespond to contract work requests promptly and provide quality customer-focused support to internal/external customers and suppliersCollaborate with multiple Esri business teams to ensure contract terms are consistent with Esris business financial and risk management objectivesConsistently anticipate and guard against potential contractual risks while proposing mitigation strategiesIdentify opportunities to streamline negotiations and educate customers suppliers and colleaguesMaintain high ethical standards in every aspect of the position and comply with company policy laws and regulationsRequirements2 years of experience negotiating and drafting agreementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented well organized analytical quick learnerAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a collegial fast-paced environmentDiligent and proactive with sound business judgment and strategic thinkingAbility to manage a significant volume of agreements in a timely mannerExcellent Microsoft Office computer skills and knowledge of Apttus (now Conga) or Salesforce experienceBachelors in business contracts administration legal studies economics or a related fieldRecommended QualificationsMBA or JDExperience negotiating technology and services agreementsExperience with open-source software and open data licensing considerationsKnowledge of privacy artificial intelligence and securityWork experience using Conga and Salesforce#LI-KH4#LI-HybridRequired Experience:IC Key Skills IVR,SOAP,Avaya,Solaris,Cost Accounting Standards,Database Design,Hibernate,ITIL,Weblogic,Express.js,Contracts,ASP Employment Type : Contract Experience: years Vacancy: 1
