What You Will Be Doing The successful candidate will be a contracts negotiator for both unclassified and classified, highly dynamic programs in Fort Worth, TX and/or Marietta, GA. The role is responsible to manage, both independently and with a team, all day-to-day contract negotiation and administration across multiple programs. Candidate will work closely with functional organizations (finance, pricing, program management, engineering, subcontracts, etc.), and must be a self-starter, willing to learn, demonstrate strategic thinking, and be able to effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders and external customers to support successful contract execution and program objectives

Key Responsibilities - Support day-to-day contract negotiation and administration activities for both classified and unclassified programs. - Assist in the preparation, review, and coordination of contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements. - Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, pricing, program management, engineering, and subcontracts to support contract execution. - Contribute to contract lifecycle activities such as modifications, tracking deliverables, and resolving routine issues. - Build working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers while developing an understanding of contract management best practices.

You are an early-career contracts professional with a strong attention to detail and a desire to build your expertise in contract negotiation and administration. You bring a foundational understanding of business or government contracting principles and are eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while supporting program needs. Known for your collaborative approach, you work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and external customers. You are a proactive self-starter who takes initiative, demonstrates sound judgment, and is motivated to grow your skills while contributing to successful contract execution and program outcomes.

Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel & Powerpoint). Experience in developing and delivering both oral and written presentations. Experience working independently and in a team situation. Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARs). Experience with multiple contract types and proposals, such as FFP, FPIF, CPIF, CPAF, CPFF & T&M. Experience multi-tasking and working several assignments concurrently. Experience dealing with Customers and internal program teams, including upper management.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
