Job Description
Sargent Aerospace & Defense products are found on many major Commercial and Military aircraft in operation worldwide. Products and systems include hydraulic actuation and valve systems locking actuators steering metering control valves fuse pins hot forged bolts pneumatic ducting and valve seals tubing system alignment joints engine hot section and structural components airframe components shock strut bearings PTFE lined spherical bearings and broad component maintenance overhaul spares logistics and power-by-the-hour support services. Sargent is also a major supplier of hydraulic control valves to the US Navy on all Nuclear Class Submarine programs. Sargent has an immediate opening for a Hydraulics Contracts Administration Manager.Key Responsibilities:Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountabilityManage the contract administration process including the review negotiation and execution of contractsDevelop and implement contract administration policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirementsOversee the preparation of contract reports and documents including proposals change orders and contract status reportsMonitor contract performance and compliance and take appropriate action to resolve any issuesProvide training and support to contract administration staff and other departments as neededMaintain accurate contract files and databases and ensure that all contract-related information is properly documented and storedRepresent the company in negotiations with customers suppliers and other stakeholdersSupport internal and external audits as necessary.Communicate state of the business and new opportunities with senior leadership.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business Administration Business Administration or a related fieldA minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace contract administration with a strong focus on government contractsExperience with CSI or similar ERP systemDemonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management softwareU.S. Citizenship is required.RBC Bearings Incorporated(NYSE: RBC/RBCP) is a leading international manufacturer of highly engineered precision bearings components and essential systems for the industrial defense and aerospace industries.
