Control Room Operator I at EOG Resources

The Control Room Operator responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Monitor production facilities and well site locations through SCADA systemMonitor takeaway pipelines and water pit levelsMonitor gas compression units and alert appropriate field personnel to decrease downtimeManage incoming alarms and contact appropriate field personnelAddress all incoming phone callsComplete required reports needed by team managementWork with SCADA team to improve processesInteract and share ideas with all groups/teamsFollow all company SOPs safety policies and proceduresAdditional duties as assignedHigh school diploma or equivalent required1 year Oil and Gas Production experienceMust maintain very strong computer skillsTime management - Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at one timeMust possess excellent communication planning and organization skillsAbility to work 12 hours shifts rotating day and nightCapable of making quick decisions under pressureMust work well in a team environmentMust have a good driving recordPosition will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.EOG Resources is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer including Veterans and Disabled.
