Salary: $125,000 - $185,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Controller Automotive. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your financial acumen and leadership skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive dealership control, strategic planning, financial management, and business planning. A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, Budgeting, Payroll, and Financial Statements is essential. The candidate must also be well-versed in calculating commissions, tax, and internal controls. Calculate commissions and manage dealership controller duties. Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with legal and business procedures. Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports for senior management. Lead strategic planning initiatives to drive business growth and profitability. Use Microsoft Excel, Reynolds and Reynolds, and CDK Software to streamline financial processes. Collaborate with other department heads to align financial management with operational goals. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements. Advise on long-term business planning and financial strategy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master's degree would be advantageous. Active CPA or EA license is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry. Proven experience with dealership controller duties. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Reynolds and Reynolds and CDK Software. Comprehensive knowledge of financial legal requirements and procedures. Strong understanding of business planning, strategic planning, and financial analysis. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing internal controls and procedures.
