Legal Entity Controller - Full-Time at NuHire, LLC

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Legal Entity Controller to join our global finance team. This strategic role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and accurate reporting across multiple legal entities worldwide. You will act as the primary accounting/finance business partner for assigned entities, driving statutory compliance, controlling processes, and supporting M&A, restructuring, and treasury activities.Key ResponsibilitiesFull ownership of the financial close, reporting, and control environment for a portfolio of legal entities (statutory accounts, tax packages, intercompany reconciliations, etc.)Preparation and/or review of local GAAP statutory financial statements and coordination with local external auditorsEnsure compliance with local accounting standards (local GAAP), tax requirements, and group policiesManage intercompany transactions, eliminations, recharge processes, and transfer pricing documentation supportAct as the key finance contact for local management, legal, tax, and treasury teamsSupport legal entity rationalization, mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, and restructuringsOversee cash management, banking relationships, and letter of credit/guarantee processes for assigned entitiesDrive implementation and monitoring of internal controls (SOX / ICFR where applicable)Coordinate with shared service centers and outsourcing partnersIdentify and implement process improvements and standardization across entitiesSupport global projects (system implementations, policy roll-outs, etc.)RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related fieldProfessional accounting qualification highly preferred essential (CPA or equivalent)10–12+ years of progressive experience in accounting/controllingPubic accounting experience is a plus but not mandatory Proven experience as legal entity controller or statutory accounting manager in a multinational environmentPrior exposure to legal entity restructurings, M&A integrations, or entity rationalization projects highly preferredStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCompany DescriptionNuHire, LLC is a direct placement recruiting firm dedicated to helping candidates find long term permanent positions, NOT short term contracts.
