Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year A bit about us: A growing home builder is seeking an experienced Construction Controller to lead its accounting operations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and play a key role in financial reporting, job costing, and process improvement across multiple entities. Why join us? Hybrid work schedule (Mix of in-office and remote work - 30506) Comprehensive health/dental/vision insurance options Flexible PTO 401(k) + company match Down-to-earth, family-owned and operated organization High visibility role with direct impact on business operations Collaborative and growth-oriented environment Opportunity to build and improve accounting processes Job Details Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements across multiple entities Lead job costing and work-in-progress reporting to support project profitability tracking Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy Support external audits, tax preparation, and compliance requirements Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance Ensure accurate intercompany accounting and consolidations across six entities Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience with job costing and WIP reporting in a construction environment Experience managing multi-entity accounting structures is a plus Experience with Sage 300/Timberline and QuickBooks is a plus Strong understanding of GAAP Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Interested in hearing more?
