Overseeing all facets of financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), budgeting, and financial reporting. 2. Conducting comprehensive financial analyses, interpreting data, and presenting insights to the senior management team to facilitate strategic decision-making. 3. Developing and implementing robust financial management strategies, systems, and controls to support the company's growth and expansion. 4. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports. 5. Conducting variance analyses to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. 6. Coordinating and driving the annual budgeting process, including the development of financial forecasts and budgets, and monitoring budget variances. 7. Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. 8. Continually improving the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should possess: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an added advantage. 2. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry. 3. In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, AP, and GAAP. 4. Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate and drive the financial team towards achieving company objectives. 5. Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 6. Proficiency in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills. 7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. 8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
