Job Details Responsibilities: As a Permanent Controller, you will be responsible for: Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. Implementing and managing the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Ensuring company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant financial regulations. Utilizing ERP packages such as Workday for efficient financial management and reporting. Leading the financial team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations. Conducting regular financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Managing and improving financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (such as a CPA) is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller role, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other financial software. Solid knowledge of GAAP and other financial regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry. Experience with Workday or other ERP packages. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing financial teams. Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. A strategic mindset, with the ability to make sound financial decisions that align with the company's long-term goals. High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong problem-solving skills.
