Key Responsibilities Oversee all financial operations including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll. Manage budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes for manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. Analyze manufacturing costs variances and profitability to drive operational improvements. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports. Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee inventory valuation and cost of goods sold calculations. Recommended Qualifications 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting inventory valuation and variance analysis within manufacturing operations. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. In-depth knowledge of GAAP financial reporting budgeting forecasting and internal control implementation. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau). Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their impact on cost accounting. Prior experience with financial system implementations or significant upgrades (e.g. ERP GL). Exposure to multi-currency operations and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
