It is ourpeople.Every face has a name and every name has a story.We are growing and have many opportunities available that might suit your interests.Snapshot of Position:Provide automation support and troubleshooting where needed; assist in the implementation of change controls for process improvements and bug fixes as neededLocation & Travel:Primary Location: Richmond, Virginia (Goochland County), with the possibility to support clients at other locationsWhat E2i Will Provide You:Paid time off, holidays, and volunteer time offComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and critical care insuranceSimple IRA offering with company match and 1:1 financial counseling with a Certified Financial PlannerReimbursements for continuing education, professional memberships, and trainingYour Roles Responsibilities:Building good relationships with customersDesigning, implementing, and supporting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipmentDesigning, implementing, and supporting electrical hardware systemsUnderstanding manufacturing processes and process instrumentationInvestigating and solving complex problemsDemonstrating solid rapport with clients, peers, and supervisorsAddressing on-call requests as neededBeing a self-starter that can work both independently and in team-based project environments Remaining a minimum of 80% billable with leadership and sales assistanceWhat You Need for this Position:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field2 - 4 years of experience in process control and automation2 - 4 years of experience in programming/developing/configuring PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems (experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, DeltaV, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens, or Wonderware is a plus) Ability to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) Ability to address on-call requests as needed
