Key Responsibilities Design develop and program PLC/HMI applications for automated manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical software and automation system issues. Implement and commission new control systems sensors and actuators on production lines. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel. Develop and maintain electrical schematics control documentation and software backups. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machine performance and reliability. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for all control systems. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Studio 5000 Siemens TIA Portal) and industrial control system design. Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot commission and optimize automated manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of industrial electrical systems motor controls (VFDs servo drives) and instrumentation. Bonus Qualifications Experience with SCADA development platforms (e.g. Ignition WinCC iFIX) and database integration (e.g. SQL). Proficiency in a higher-level programming language (e.g. Python C#) for data analysis or custom tool development. Familiarity with industrial robot programming and integration (e.g. Fanuc Kuka ABB). Knowledge of industrial network architecture and cybersecurity best practices. Experience with machine vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence) for inspection or guidance.
