All About YouThe purpose of this role is to specify design construct program and maintain automated equipment for a wide variety of manufacturing processes. This includes the integration and troubleshooting of various automated components including PLCs robotics HMIS industrial vision systems data handling MES systems control panels servos sensors and more.RequirementsBachelors degree in engineering (electrical manufacturing or mechanical preferred)3 years experience in a related fieldHands-on experience using design and calculation softwareDeep knowledge of automation in manufacturing processesUnderstanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standardsStrong background in PLC and MES systems experience working with robotics HMIs servos etc.ResponsibilitiesComplete automation projects and tasks as they relate to the integration of various automation components (PLCs robotics HMIS industrial vision systems data handling MES systems control panels servos sensors pnematic controls safety systems etc)Program PLC logic for both the creation of new and mofication of existing systems (Primarily Allen-Bradley)Identify scope and lead hardware or software upgrade projects for performance improvements critical component obsolence or other business needs.Support the troubleshooting of complex and recurring issues of automated equipment by collaborting with various cross-functional teamsContribute to eqiupment specification creation for automated equipment ot ensure that the equipment complies with all performance construction quality safety and budgetary constraintsCollaborate with mechanical and equipment engineers to develop and implement robust equipment and processesEstablishes documents and improves standard methods for operating process equipmentLead role in the identifation of continuos improvement opportunities scoping and justification of implementing automated process controls to improve OEEPromote a safety culture within the site and the teamWhat We OfferWhether you are just getting started or are an experienced professional we offer a robust total rewards package to include generous compensation based on market standards healthcare wellness adoption assistance discounted stock purchase career development and recognition programs.
