Controls Engineer at TALENT HIVE, LLC

Talent Hive is in search of a Senior Controls Engineer proficient in deploying automation solutions using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) platforms. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution:- Identify prioritize and schedule tasks with personal responsibility to meet commitments.- Proactively identify and resolve issues and conflicts.- Collaborate under the guidance of experienced engineers.- Implement continuous improvement strategies for project execution efficiency.- Maintain direct communication and interaction with clients.- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes. Technical Documentation and Design:- Develop project definitions requirements and status reports.- Create process control sequences standard procedures and scope of supply documentation.- Support hardware engineering and systems design activities.- Assist with factory/site acceptance testing user training and acceptance testing.- Program control logic construct graphics configure databases etc.- Interpret and update documents drawings and specifications related to automation projects. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelors degree in engineering or a related discipline (preferably Electrical Chemical Controls or Computer Engineering).- 3 years of relevant experience in process control manufacturing or information services.- Experience with PLC DCS and/or SCADA/HMI design development and deployment.- Strong leadership client relations and documentation skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word; SharePoint experience is beneficial.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel up to 25%. Strongly Preferred Skills:- Knowledge in diverse processes such as Oil & Gas Chemicals etc.- Experience with Honeywell DCS programming (Experion PKS/LX/HS a plus) and Allen Bradley ControlLogix programming (PlantPAx a plus).- Familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems (ICONICS or Wonderware a plus).- Experience in checkout testing startup and commissioning. Physical Requirements:* Normal vision for AutoCAD and design tasks.* Good hearing and manual dexterity for computer work.* Ability to sit move around and meet deadlines effectively.
