Determine proper validation methods.ResponsibilitiesWhat youll do...Handle setup and maintenance of industrial bar code printersUtilize sound knowledge design and implement vision control systems. Familiar with different type of vision cameras and their programing software. Continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and deliveryUse FIS plant monitoring software to review cycle times of equipment review and follow up project installationsReprogram equipment for engineering changes and improvementsUpdate program backups for machinery and automationProgram new installations of automation machinery material handling and robotsAs part of a team review risk assessments and evaluate equipment safetyAssist in training manufacturing personnel and plant electriciansRead and modify electrical prints and schematics Auto CADMaintain familiarity with OA CPN/MPN networks and communication protocols for connecting to wireless and wired networksManage installation and maintenance of virus protection software for controls network PCs perform PC backup disc images and installation of communication and firmware and controls softwareWork overtime and weekends as neededYoull have...High School Diploma or GED2 or more years of Controls Engineering experience (internship and coop experience will be considered)QualificationsEven better you may have...Bachelors Degree in Electrical Mechanical Controls or Automation EngineeringElectrical background (electrician or technician) preferredFamiliar with PLC/CNC (Siemens/ Allen-Bradley) VFD Servo Profinet ABB and FANUC RobotsSolid understanding of laser burningDemonstrated ability to read blueprints modify electrical schematics and use AutoCADValidated ability to troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate for process improvementsExperience with conveyor system programming and overhead GantrySolid understanding of networking to include DH Ethernet and remote IOLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experienceLean Tools 5S Kanban Poka-Yoke Value Stream Mapping experienceUnderstanding of 8D FMEA and DMAIC processesFamiliar with TQM and Kaizen methodsOne or more years of experience with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)Knowledge of simulation modeling and visual factory management preferredYou may not check every box or your experience may look a little different from what weve outlined but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company we encourage you to apply!As an established global company we offer the benefit of choice.
