Job DescriptionJob DescriptionControls Technician Pay: Depends on experienceResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex industrial equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyor systems, and balers.Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime, including cleaning, lubricating, and performing routine system checks.Assist with minor equipment modifications and fabrication projects, which may involve cutting, welding, and using power tools.Perform maintenance on facility infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. Conduct required inspections of safety features like eye wash stations and emergency exit lighting.Strictly follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations, including Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area.Record maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment issues in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Prioritize and manage work orders.Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and production staff to resolve issues and ensure operational continuity.Essential SkillsExperience in electrical troubleshooting, including reading blueprints and working with 480 volt/3 phase systems.PLC troubleshootingAdditional Skills & QualificationsPLC TroubleshootingExperience with VFDs, Sensors, and HMIWhy Work Here?Enjoy stable employment in a niche industry with opportunities for growth and advancement.
