Job DescriptionA Controls technician / Automation technician / Systems technician is required to join an industry leader in Florida.The successful Controls technician / Automation technician / Systems technician will have hands-on experience in DDC controls system startups commissioning and troubleshooting. Package:$62000 $80000 base salaryCar allowance401(k) matchingHealth dental and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)Life insuranceControls technician / Automation technician / Systems technician Responsibilities:Start-up check-out and commissioning of DDC and building control systemsTroubleshoot test and calibrate HVAC and mechanical controlsMake minor DDC code modifications and configure system elements like trend logs alarms graphics and zonesRecord and update as-built drawings and control documentationExecute field changes and directives during project deliveryProvide owner and peer training on system usage and maintenanceCollaborate with project engineers and technical teams during installationsConstruct panels and prepare field documentation including UL tags check-out sheets and redline drawingsManage time effectively to ensure assignments are completed on time and within budgetControls technician / Automation technician / Systems technician Requirements:Associate degree in Applied Technology or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of DDC control theory mechanical/electrical systems and field instrumentationProficient with computers control software and basic programming logicExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in construction environmentsMust be comfortable with physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs climbing ladders working in mechanical rooms)Experience in HVAC or building automation environments strongly preferredReliable and detail-oriented with strong communication skillsValid drivers license and ability to travel locallyPreferably resides in the Gainesville area.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Aeronautical,Healthcare Attorney,Fitness,General Services,Account Management,Export Documentation Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 62000 - 80000
