Conventional MachinistPay: $20.00-$25.00/hr Hours: MondayFriday 7:00 AM3:30 PMLocation: Tulsa OKJob Type: Direct HireJob Order #: 122996Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Conventional Machinist to join a high-precision manufacturing team in Tulsa. The Conventional Machinist will plan set up modify and operate a variety of conventional machine tools producing parts with exact tolerances and high-quality finishes.Key Responsibilities Plan machining operations including part holding alignment and proper tooling Read and interpret complex blueprints and sketches Make machine and tooling adjustments for a wide range of parts Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers calipers indicators) to verify tolerances Perform advanced mathematical computations for machining accuracy Operate conventional machines including:o Engine Latheso Radial Drills / Mills (Bridgeport Mecof)o TOS Millso Broach machines (keyway) Perform bench operations grinding tool setting and layout work Assist other machinists with setup and provide training as needed Conduct minor machine maintenance (cleaning lubrication adjustments) Maintain a safe clean and orderly work area Operate cranes forklifts and other power equipment Follow proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with JHA regulations Produce quality parts on time while complying with ISO 9000 requirements Provide and maintain personal tools according to RPI calibration requirementsQualifications & Skills 24 years Trade/Technical School or equivalent experience Strong understanding of advanced shop mathematics Ability to read complex drawings specifications charts and tables Familiarity with a wide variety of precision measuring tools 35 years conventional machining experience preferred Must read and write English High School Diploma or GED required Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Physical Requirements Prolonged standing; frequent walking bending kneeling twisting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Strong hand-eye coordination Ability to work in hot/cold environmentsIf youre an experienced machinist seeking a stable long-term career with a respected company apply today for this Conventional Machinist role.Job Order# 122996Stand-By Personnel Skilled DivisionTulsa Office Location:4305 S.
