Our extensive experience connections and deep expertise across different sectors industries and transportation modes means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.Job DescriptionSummaryAssigns work for Company and owner operator trailer drivers for conveyance of freight by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Compiles and maintains list of available drivers. Assigns trucks according to availability purpose of trip and freight. Issues record sheets and all related paperwork to drivers. Trouble shooting and notifying appropriate parties of any changes. Records time of departure destination cargo and expected time of return. Investigates overdue vehicles. Directs activities of drivers by two-way radio. Confers with customers to expedite or locate missing misrouted delayed or damaged merchandise. Abilityto perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume anddistance.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oralinstructions.
