Delaware North Sportservice is searching for seasonal Cooks to join our team at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Cook, no day will be the same working in this energetic team. What will you do?

• Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained , food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items, and packages all products to proper specifications
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
• Clean, and sanitize your areas often including and not limited to sweeping, mopping and scrubbing of kitchen walks, floors, and equipment
• Remove your kitchens trash and dispose into dumpster
• Assist other areas of the kitchen not limited to dishwashing and porter duties on occasion
• Will be required on occasion to cook in front of guests
• Assist in cooking duties in other kitchen spaces as required by management

More about you

• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
• No experience or diploma required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more
• Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• Exposed to variable temperatures
