Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis is a GREAT work environmentYou will be cooking from a menu, however, you will need cooking from scratch skillsYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:Assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of mealsPlanning food production to coordinate with meal serving hoursAbility to cook to orderMemorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portionsFollow standard recipes and special diet ordersAble to perform and handle high-end scratch cookingMonitor stock, keep track of inventory and place orders when necessaryOperate and clean standard kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances safely and efficientlyAdhere to all sanitation and food production codesSet up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipmentPrepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are servedStore food and other items are stored properly, checking the quality of ingredientsYOUR QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:At least 2 years previous experience in Entrée' Cooking in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented to accommodate special diet requestsKnowledge of and adherence to food safety and sanitation practicesREQUIREMENTS:Clean, friendly, and professional appearancePositive attitude and strong work ethicTeam player who will work well with othersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and customer service skillsResponsible & dependable, with reliable transportationWe look forward to working with you!
