WE OFFER OUR COOKS:Weekly paychecks Competitive wagesStable hours (choose full-time or part-time)FT associates will be considered for permanent employment RESPONSIBILITIES OF COOKS: Assist in preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hoursMemorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portionsFollow standard recipes and special diet ordersMonitor stock, keep track of inventory, and place orders when necessaryOperate and clean standard kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances safely and efficientlyAdhere to all sanitation and food production codesSet up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipmentPrepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are servedStore food and other items are stored properly, checking the quality of ingredients QUALIFICATIONS FOR COOKS: Previous experience in food service, culinary arts, or other related fieldsExperience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakewarePrevious work in a restaurant, corporate kitchen, university, or event center is preferredProficiency in various cooking methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)Knowledge of and adherence to food safety and sanitation practices REQUIREMENTS FOR COOKS: Clean, friendly, and professional appearancePositive attitude and strong work ethicTeam player who works well with othersThrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and customer service skillsResponsible & dependable, with reliable transportationAll candidates must be 18 years of age or older to applyAll candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.All candidates must pass a pre-hire drug screen Thank you for your time; we look forward to hearing from you!
