Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBlooming Hill, a farm to table Restaurant & Catering Company, in Monroe, NY is looking for both full & part time cooks to join our already strong team. We are located on Route 208 at Blooming Hill Farm. Our ideal candidate is punctual, attentive, ambitious, and engaged. A full time schedule for us is around 45 hours per week with all time over 40 hours paying time and a half. Part time would be 25-30 hours per week (3 days, fri-sun ideally). Starting pay 20$ an hour or more depending on your experience level.ResponsibilitiesSet up, breakdown & fully clean workstations for restaurant service and eventsCook dishes a la minute during busy service, and in large batches for events to our high standardsFollow health and safety guidelines and work in a clean and efficient mannerPrepare a wide variety of food ingredients for use during restaurant service & for catering eventsTake instructions from the chef and sous chefs, follow recipes, and work prep listsDesired QualificationsProven working experience as a cook - both for prep & busy restaurant service/cateringFamiliarity with various kitchen equipment & cooking techniquesIntermediate or better knife skillsStrong attention to detail & ability to follow instructions and recipes closelyAbility to listen and communicate effectively & work with a teamWe look forward to seeing your resume and speaking further with interested candidates!By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
