Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Pizza Chef to join our kitchen staff and make America’s Best Pizzas! As a pizza cook, your primary responsibilities include baking pizzas and preparing related ingredients. Your duties involve preparing dough, chopping toppings such as meats and vegetables, baking the pizzas, and executing customers’ orders considering special requests. Ultimately, you will help increase client satisfaction by preparing high-quality pizzas.Pizza Cook Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Prepare customer orders & help with kitchen prep activitiesCompleting daily prep including washing & chopping vegetables, filling side cups, restocking make lines, etc. Smoke & cut chicken breasts & wings using smokerMaintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment regularly Receiving in the moment coaching & hands on training Assisting management with in store tasks & other daily store dutiesComplying with the rules and regulations of the companyTake orders, process payments, & customer phone callsResolve customers’ concerns and answer customers’ questions to your best abilityRequirementsAbility to handle the physical demands of a restaurant – standing, lifting, carrying, etc.Communicates and expresses ideas to better service our customersStrong verbal communicatorServsafe or required state food safety licenseFlexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and eveningsTeam spiritUnderstanding of food hygieneGood time-management skillsFamiliarity with kitchen equipment & KPS/POS systemsWork experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a restaurant (preferred)By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
