Be a cook at a lovely senior living community. You must love older adults! Work directly with the Executive Chef and a strong kitchen team.Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards- Menu planning and creating new dishes- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations- Assist with catering events as needed- Maintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements:- Previous experience as a chef/cook or in the food industry required- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
