Ask questions of guests and make personal connections so they feel welcome and valuedPrepare all required items according to make sheets/recipes while upholding Big E’s standardsSet up service units with needed itemsService items in accordance with established portions and presentation standardsNotify the Back of House Manager of expected shortagesEnsure that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitarySet up, maintain, clean, and break down prep cook stationFollow all copen/close/cleaning check lists presented by management Adhere to local health and safety regulationsMaintain any logs required by the health departmentFollow all Suburban Inns processesExhibit regular and recurrent attendance recordsOther duties as requested by managementPosition Requirements:Minimum Knowledge: Requires ability to interpret/extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, record keeping, or word processing. Good communication skillsFormal Education and Job-Related Experience: Prior restaurant experience preferredLicense, Registration, and/or Certification Required: ServSafe Food and Allergen CertificationWork Schedule: Work regularly requires or varies between day, evening, night, holiday, and/or weekend assignments.  Schedule varies according to business demands and needsRequired Travel: Position does not require travel to other Suburban Inns properties or client locations.  Work is completed on the propertyWe are a dynamic organization in a rapidly changing industry.
