This position will be based in Los Angeles CA and will require regional wide travel.You will be responsible for assisting in managing significant construction projects construction planning and field support. This position requires the ability to work independently comfortable in a construction environment and willingness to be in the field.The role sits within our global business area Places Infrastructure group.Role accountabilities:This is an opportunity for a dynamic candidate looking for career growth in construction services. The position offers an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects with a great team and join a successfully growing organization with a reputation for high quality work and top-notch employees.In this role the candidate will assist with managing day-to-day activities on large construction/remediation includes project planning and costing professional interaction with clients preparing field reports and communicating staffing needs.Your core duties may include but are not limited to:Interaction and communication with clientsProject Planning and CostingManaging and updating construction schedulesDetermining and communicating staffing needsTracking field costs and material volumesPreparing Daily Weekly Monthly Field ReportsWorking with and directing subcontractors and other contractorsPromoting and tracking safety performanceConducting tailgate safety meetingsThe ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills are also required for field reports and spreadsheets in the field.Qualifications & Experience:Required Qualifications:Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering Construction Engineering or related science discipline.Preferred Qualifications:1 year of experience with field engineering construction management and construction oversightWhy ArcadisWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
