Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Bistro at Pomegranate Market is looking for an experienced kitchen cook. Applicants must share a love for food, a passion for clean eating, be self motivated, and work well in a customer service atmosphere. This is a full-time position and shifts may vary Monday through Saturday between 7:30am - 8:30 pm , and Sundays 10am - 6pm. ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.Job Requirements:Taking customer orders and delivering food to customersAbility to follow recipes to prepare salads, sandwiches, soups and other dishesPrepare fresh smoothies, juices, brew coffee and teaClearing tables, cleaning dining area and replenishing suppliesWashing dishes, cleaning counters, prep tables, salad bar and steam tableOperating juicers, knives, ovens, mixers, dishwasher and other kitchen equipment in a safe mannerEnsuring recipes are followed and that the quality of our products are consistentCommunicating with customers and team members in EnglishUse of hands/fingers to prepare, package and serve food and beveragesAbility to push/pull carts of up to 50# and lifting & carrying up to 25#Standing for long periods of timeBending and reaching to fill/organize productsOperating cash register and food scaleStarting pay is dependent upon experience w/a 90 day introductory period, casual dress code, relaxed work environment, health & dental insurance, and an employee discount!#hc199199
